New records of Xiphinema illyricum Barsi & Lamberti, 1999 from Montenegro (Nematoda: Dorylaimida)

Abstract

Findings of Xiphinema illyricum in soil samples near Donja Seoca in Montenegro (2001, 2003, 2007) are the first finds of this species after the original description from the vicinity of Danilovgrad in 1999. Population collected in 2001 is described, illustrated and morphometric data of females and four juvenile developmental stages are presented. It is very similar to the type population and minor differences in morphometric data are considered to be intraspecific variability.
