Phytochemical profile and biological activities of the genus Ornithogalum L. (Hyacinthaceae)

Abstract


Ths review summarizes literature published from 1954-2013 on the characterization and biological activities of isolated compounds or crude extracts from thirteen diffrent plants of the genus Ornithogalum L.
(Hyacinthaceae, Asparagales). Mechanisms of action and structure activity relationships are briefl discussed.
